The Electro-Voice 1828C is a 30-watt convertible driver with a 1.5" voice-coil, designed for use with compound diffraction horns in public address applications. The weather-resistant exterior, finished in water-proof paint, is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, and is equipped with both a dual 1", screw-on exit, and a 1-3/8" x 7/8" threaded plug, allowing the 1828C to be mounted into any horn.
