Electro Voice M-SUB Description:
The Electro-Voice M-SUB is a proprietary signal processing expansion card for insertion into the front panel slot of a P1201, or the dual slots of a P1202 power amplifier. The module inserts EQ, crossover design, and the unique VCP voice-coil protection circuitry, into the signal path between the above mentioned amplifiers, and a variety manufacturer's subwoofer speakers.
The M-SUB is matched to the functionality of an 18" subwoofer, and offers a low-pass notch filter (LPN) matching the transmission function of the cabinet. Also available is an integrated 60 Hz switchable low-cut filter. When the module is inserted, the amplifier input sensitivity changes to 0dBu.
